I find this appalling that someone has come on here to ask for help and the thread turns into a bickering match yet again. You should remember that the OP has asked a genuine question and is most probably worried out of her mind due to the state of her husband's health and how she is going to manage. I only hope you are never in the same position or maybe it would make you a bit more charitable.
    You should be ashamed

    Thanks i am genuinely ashamed:rolleyes:

What bickering?? Where?? Loopy girls comment to me contained 1 of these ;) It was a light hearted comment, no bickering:confused: DMG's comment was just stating that there were more important things for the O.P to worry about than a spelling mistake. I replied and agreed :)

Some people take things waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously, chill out and relax:confused:

Everyone seems to like being wrapped in cotton wool on this forum. Scared to breathe in here sometimes without upsetting someone.

I wish the O.P and her husband all the best :)

Sorry, below is not a useful reply to your question,

Can i point out the obvious spelling mistake that you have made in your thread title?

    Sorry, loosing drives me nuts:rotfl:

The 4 letter version of the word lose means you have lost something, the 5 letter version of the word loose means you have slackened something off or you have let loose an animal.

I know this is not an English lesson, but they are 2 totally different words;)

    Sorry, i know its petty:rotfl:

I have mixed feelings on this one.

On the one hand I agree that spelling and grammar mistakes can be a bit of a pain. I would add I am not perfect either.

On the other hand if this is pointed out by someone who often makes spelling mistakes and errors in grammar that is a bigger pain.

I do not think you are sad enough to go through all of my 1072 posts or is it each and every 1 of my posts:rolleyes: but i would like you to prove to me 'often';)

Granted i may make a spelling mistake now and again but to use the term often, i find :rotfl:

You can correct words like im and dont etc, but that is laziness rather than spelling, punctuation. I would not do that in anything important documentation wise.

Grammar can come down to wife and i rather than me and the wife but that's a total different ball game. Grammar does not wind people up on internet forum writing, simple spelling mistakes do though, ie those of 4 and 5 letter very common words;)

I think you'll find my spelling is very good on here;) You can go through the 1072 posts if you like, you'll probably find 1 or 2 granted, but to use the term often:rotfl: :T

I cannot be bothered to go through all the posts you suggest but it would not give a clear picture anyway as you have deleted so many in the past. I stand by my comments.

Because i delete posts that have spelling mistakes in rather than editing them:rolleyes:

    Good god:eek:

Edited to add instead of creating another post...

I think we are getting a bit carried away now, i am well aware lose/loose is a very common mistake hence why i pointed it out. Google search reveals ;)

Anyway, back to the O.P question.........

Mitchaa, I'm sure I speak for many people here - GO AWAY! Your selfish comments are uncalled for, the OP needed help and what did you give her? A lesson in spelling. How disgusting, you get more selfish and self-obsessed each day. Leave this thread in peace.

OP, I'm sorry about mitchaa, he is generally a rude and arrogant benefits basher, please ignore him, there are some very helpful and knowlegble people on here, and I'm sure they will be along to help.

Yes I am bored with your childish sarcasm so it is best if we stop here.

I am sorry OP for this but I had the urge to reply to mitchaa for the reasons covered by septemberblues excellent post above.

Oh and check post number 11 and see who has thanked me ;) O.P has obviously taken it in a good light hearted manner :)

If the O.P has taken it this way, what on earth are you on your high horse for:confused: Some people need to get out more i think:rotfl:
