coca cola/pepsi/etc fridge for cafe

Can anyone please tell me where I can get some info on getting a coca cola (or other brand) fridge for my cafe??? I should mention we have just bought it so are novices at the owning side of things.

Any advice would be great!

If you google commercial refrigeration, or commercial fridges, you'll be able to get an idea of what options are available to you and what their costs are. Some may even be available second hand from e-bay.

If you want a specifically branded model, then you should probably speak to the brand owners: Coke CCE for Coke in the UK - see http://www.cokecce.co.uk/cce/index.jsp
Pepsico's UK website says that it is not offering commercial equipment except for crisps (but this may be just vending machines, not fridges), their website is at http://www.pepsico.co.uk/trade/

I'm not in the cafe trade (I'm a researcher), but if you are new to running a cafe, I think you may need to agree to stock only Coke goods in your coke fridge, so if customers have a preference for say - diet coke but seven up as their lemonade of choice, then tough. Think about what people want before signing up to an agreement with any company to make sure you are in tune with your demographic.

I managed to get in contact with Coke, Barrs and Pepsi (via Britvic who do supply chillers). And I have sourced a nice cooler to buy new for £520 inc VAT with 2 yrs parts and labour, so we can weigh up all our options.

So far as I am led to beleive, Coke demand 100% coke products, Pepsi 70% and Barrs (Irn bru) make you buy the cooler but give you the value in drinks (so your just buying a huge lot of drinks and getting a fridge free!).

A local vending comapny is coming round with regards to a coffee machine and they also do chillers so we will have a few options.

I admit I did go cross eyed last night trying to find contact numbers for them all (especially Pepsi!).

Have to add that it's really cheeky of eBay members ot sell coke fridges when they got them free!! :rotfl:

Coke pay for a cooler I think if you stock 100% of there products in it.
