Help choosing savings account

Options
Hi there, first post so please move if in the wrong place.
My girlfriend and I are buying a house together in October and are looking into getting a joint instant access account that we can pay both wages into (approx £3-3.5k pm). We would like to also use this to pay our direct debits from and also with a high interest rate for the money we leave over. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You're describing some features of a current account (paying wages in, direct debits) and some features normally used to describe savings accounts (instant access, high interest rates).

It seems from what you say that you want both.

I would get a decent interest paying current account, 2 ISAs, and a good instant access savings account.
