do you not have a video camera and a speaker phone that way its better for proof of not tampering with a sound file etc
If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly

  • Hi,

Just to let you know you will have to make it very clear to the other person why you are recording the call. ie training reason etc. if you state you are using it to use against the other person you might find that they hang up. If you say you are going to use it for training and they use it for a different use it won't stand up in a court of law.

A private individual does not have to inform the other party that he is recording a call. However, if the other party is not made aware, the judge in a court may decide that the recording is inadmissible as evidence. (Or he may decide that it is admissible - it's up to him.) If you swear that it was not your intention to use the recording as evidence and the judge believes you, then he may accept it as evidence.

It's all laid out clearly, here:-

I use a Parliant "PhoneValet" unit to record phone conversations direct to the Hard Drive in my Apple Mac.

If I can get it to work, I will simply state that the telephone call is being recorded as a permanent record of the conversation.
    Can't go wrong from there........can I??
