everyone with kids knows why i'm looking for a something that can shut down the shower after set time, i have tried the ariel timer and tbh it still in the hands of the person in the shower and my kids don't care.
i found this http://www.showermanager.com/shower_timer/shower_timer.shtml i was wondering is there anything in the uk that have something like this or any advice on another product which would work.
we have shouted until we are blue in the face, nearly kicked down the bathroom door and switch off the power at the mains, but it has goto the point that my youngest justs waits until we are out.

Not sure if you can prevent it being turned back on again but check out the Aqualisa Axis Digital shower which you can get a wireless remote for to turn on/off from outside the bathroom. See http://www.aqualisa.co.uk/
Will cost you though...in the order of £600 upwards for shower valve and remote.
If your interested I would give aqualisa a call and discuss whether it is suitable - they are always very helpful when i've called.
Hope that helps

Some of my most vivid memories form childhood are of my Dad blowing a gasket over the phone bill. Funds may be tight but do you really want your kids' lasting memories of their youth being of endless wars over shower usage?
Sounds like they're just perpetuating it because it bugs you now....0 -

Take the phones away from them, I think you need to let your kids know who is running the show, it looks to me like they are.:rolleyes:0 -
lol you need to discipline your kids, hate to think what they are like outside of their home if that's how they behave0

My dad put the main switch to turn on the power to the shower downstairs in the pantry, 5 mins in the shower and he would shout upstairs that we had one minute left and then the water would go ice cold, i hated it but it worked.:D
Perhaps moving the switch would be a cheaper option?
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
Just show them the bills and withhold a proportion of their pocket money.0
