help with dell laptop connection

I think my grandson has pressed some buttons on my laptop and I cant get connected to the wireless network. I get a message saying it has probably been disabled. Can anyone tell me where the switch is for internet access on the dell insperon laptop please??????

I seem to recall it might be on one of the function keys or near there at he top - if it is not a dedicated button.
I think it is one of the functions that you have to press either control or alt or shift for.
