Ticklemouse I totally agree with you.

I was pleased that Martin posted it here as I don't read the referrals board so would not have seen it. As I have been eagerly awaiting the book I am pleased that he has managed to get earlier delivery & a reduced price for us. I think that it should be posted on every topic so more people get the chance to benefit.
Martin & his team have helped so many people through his books, broadcasts & this site. I for one am extremely grateful & do not think I am being influenced in any way & am more than happy to have my purchase with amazon count towards the bookseller list.

Ian - I am not offended, especially now everything has been clarified.

I am not empowered with journalistic skills either, my response was just a knee-jerk reaction to what you had originally written, in the 5 minutes I had available before I did the school run. And of course you are entitled to your opinion too.

Martin - I'm glad you think my response eloquent. I wanted to put more in and perhaps phrase things differently, but time and school closing time wait for no man (or woman in this case)

a-t. The above photo isn't the one on the book cover - if you're looking at the one with the long jacket that is. The new photo is much nicer.

Yep - it's the new book cover that shows him off best, the one in the top corner with the buckled hat, goatee and sparkler isn't a good look IMHO
