how can i find best train routes for people with limited mobility?

Hi,

Im wondering if people know of a website that might help me solve a problem for my mother - and anybody else with limited mobility.

She is trying to get from tunbridge wells to heathrow by public transport.

The train stations are usually fine as there are often porters to help etc, but she finds it very difficult to use the tube.

I have been on the national rail website anbd there is a map of stations showing where there are staff and no steps but it is very hard to plot a route through / round london without using the tube.

Does anybody know of a site that could do this?

A mate went to the local train station (in kent like you) and asked about train details and help with disabled assistance for me, and returned with a leaflet with a phone number on to call. The person manning the train station gave the train details and all i had to do was phone the number on the leaflet and get them to ensure that there was help at the stations i was going to.
Maybe if you went to your locally 'manned' station and asked for help, they would know?
