press studs for duvet cover help

No the covers are still partly stitched together at the duvet end - there is a large gap for shoving it in so sounds the same as yours. I think I will monitor for duvet leak before taking the plunge with the velcro or press studs.

Also, Dunelm Mill sells press studs by the metre, ie already sewn into the tape, you just sew the tape to the duvet cover ... just a thought

You can also buy stick on velcro - so no sewing needed at all!0

Velcro is very hard to sew on by hand. I don't think the stick on one would last long in the wash. The easiest option would be to sew on short lengths of ribbon and tie in a double bow.0
