Citibank over limit!

in Credit cards
Hi,
I've recently applied for a Barclaycard to pay off another credit card and have been successfull but last month went over my limit (my fault completely) on my Citi bank. This is all sorted out now and they will be recieving a large payment of £990 in a few days anyway but I'm scared that this has runied our chances of getting a homeowner loan as my credit report will show this!
My credit report said excellent and my boyfriends was above average.
Could anyone tell me which credit search companys Halifax use as we really do need the money for the house but I'm so scared of being turned down!
Please can anyone give me some advice on this.
Thank you
Nicky

One payment, as long as you fix it, shouldn't have a major impact on your credit file on its own.0

That's reassuring to know thank you for your reply! Like I say I rang them as I needed to pay a bill and didn't realise it had gone over limit (by about £25) so I paid what I needed to and told them that they would be recieving a large balance transfer anyway!
Thanks again
