Well to make you feel better then, I only got £500 on the plain Egg card thanks to some naivety about what would incur a credit search.

Had mine for a while now, and it's a cracking card (sorry ).

Was originally given a low limit, but I phoned up and said I was cancelling my Egg Visa Credit card, so they transferred it's limit over to the Egg Money card. Only ever got close to the limit once when I was doing my bathroom and put everything on it all in the same month.

Never had a problem, apart from B&Q not being able to do refunds on it, which is actually a bonus, since they normally give you the cash instead ;)

And it's invaluable for stoozing - I wouldn't be without it.
  • We got a £2K limit it suits us as we use it for all debit card purchases and pay off in full each month. Weve had the card for 3 months now and accrued £30 cash back so far, so things are going well.

Just a little update, its been about a week now and I've not received my card but all my log-in stuff works online. Should I worry yet?

I've had my card for about four months with no trouble. £3600 limit, never been anywhere near it. Pay it off each month but 7.9% apr if I couldn't. I wonder if I'll get a letter changing it to 12.9?
