I was under the impression that a HIP had to be at least started before a property is marketed and that it remained valid as for as long as the property was continuously marketed.0 -

As an update, our current estate agents, Halifax EA, have just telephoned us to say that their office in Ashton under Lyne is to close in 5 weeks time - they at least have given us some warning!
This follows on from the Halifax EA office in Urmston (where we're looking for house) closing a few weeks ago - even the big boys aren't immune to the current market but I guess they have bigger overheads etc. than the smaller EA's.
Oh well! Back to arranging a new EA & Pics.0 -
