Barclaycard application

Hi all,

Just want to ask if someone applied for a barclaycard?
What's the procedure and how long does it take them to send the card?

When I applied for one they said nothing and card arrived about 8 days later.

I am a bit puzzled by the procedure as there is nothing on their webpage on that.

I applied for Barclaycard platinum on the evening of 6th August, received Email on 7th saying successful, received email on 9th saying card is in the post and then card arrived on the 11th. Would've probably been sooner had it not been for the weekend.

I applied for mine and was told at the end of the online application process I'd been successful.

Didn't know credit limit until the paperwork arrived though.

Took about 7 days for the items of goodness to come through.

I filled in the application form online and was told i was successful, then a couple of days later i receved a text message from them sayin again i was successful and that they will let me know when the card is sent.
I never gave them my email so this is why i probably got a text last Monday.

I am a bit freaking out and worried it will get lost in the post or go to the wrong address :S
