Panel damage repair
My NQD wife unfortunately reversed our car (2003 Volvo S80) into a wall.
Here's the damage (click to enlarge):
Damage is to driver's side just above the wheel arch.
Any thoughts on the best way of effecting a repair?
Or should I just leave it? It doesn't bother me too much, but don't want to leave it if it will rust.
This happened about two months ago, haven't got round to doing amnything about it yet.

not sure if volvo panels are galvinised but any bare metal near a wheel arch is bad news when the winter sets in and the roads are wet and salty....work permit granted!0

NQD? Not Quite Deserving?
I'd leave it until you're ready to sell it. As there is a good chance it could happen again by anyone. Just get some touch up paint and blob it all in for now to stop it going messy.0 -

If the paint is broken then it will need sorting to prevent rust. you will probably find that will cost about £150 to repair at an independant bodyshop. just go to a few and get quotes to get it sorted.
At least go buy some meguiars Scratch X and use it to remove the wrong coloured paint it will improve the apearence by just removeing the paint transfer. no don't use tcut0
