pay off credit card or keep money in isa

I have just done a ballance transfer to abbey zero from hsbc 12 month interest free like martin sujested over the 12 months I put the money into an isa it is all getting very complicated for me now so do I pay off the new abbey now with the money in the isa or do I leave it in the isa for another 6 months then pay it off The monthly payments are now quite steep even though its only £4000 will I get enough interest to worrent leaving the money where it is. Obviously I will still be spending money over the next 6 months is it worth putting this in the isa or paying it off every month? has anyone got any views?:A

Provided that you can afford the minimum monthly repayments on your Abbey card, I wouldn't touch your savings. With an interest-free balance transfer card like Abbey Zero, there's no merit in parting with more than the minimum payments required.

If I were you, I'd continue to set aside as much as possible (preferably in your Cash ISA) to pay off the card just before the interest-free period ends. Alternatively, you could transfer any remaining balance to another 0% BT card and let your savings build up a little longer ;)
