I don't honestly think that anyone would wilfully destroy something that does not belong to them. Its just a humourous outlook on life!0

I dont think they can do that, I think the agreement is ended with the BR order and the company can't chase any shortfall or levy a collection charge.====0 -

Seriously, just empty the petrol and give the keys back, it's not worth the repercussions.
People are only having a joke (I hope).
When you are angry about something, turning it on it's head with a little humour often helps.

Hi Skylight,
You are right no one should wilfully damage anything that does not belong to them but you don't have to be walked over like a door mat by some 18 year old who knows no better.
All I am saying is you don't have to make it easy for them.Chances are it could be weeks before they do eventually call.

Hi TD
Do make sure you take all your belongings out of the car, these companies can be ruthless!
Black Horse took my OH car in the middle of the night and it was a nightmare to get his stuff back, when he was there the security guard was saying they will do anything to get them back, even following people and instances where they had took it when the family had gone shopping and just removed it from the car park!0 -
Hi guys, thanks for all the feedback,
I rang the women in question again today and asked when the van was going to be taken, before she could finish her forked tongued sententance i said 48 hrs you told me! Yes or No..!!
She started to back pedal, she was on the ropes claming that the recovery crew was rally busy,
I than asked her why she stated 48hrs recovery and could not back this up...Yes or no, i asked.
Yes but yes but yes but she was on the ropes again......
I told her it was important that if your going to make idle threats its def worth making sure you back them up!! Its mocks your credibility!!
I put the phone down.
Truth is i was worried when they told me they were going to take it but parents and GF have come to the rescue, i get my new (well old) van on friday and its better than the one thats going.
As far as them trying to recover money after it has been returned im not sure where i stand, i dont think they can if its taken because of a BR order, i think thats why she was so mental about it. Like its come out of her pocket!!

Pass any paperwork relating to debts on this over to your OR. They can certianly try to recover costs! Best of luck to them!0
