Wall E - Money saving tip

Wall E, Disneys latest offering.
With the average cost of a cinema ticket being in the region of £6 a family of four could cost in the region of £24, then petrol money and munchies whilst at the cinema, so being realistic your outing could cost around £30+
Well here is a money saving tip: Dont go watch it.
It is the biggest load of garbage i have ever been unfortunate enough to watch. 2 hours of my life ill never get back. I really cannot put into words how boring this film is, neither of my kids enjoyed it and at one point i was considering leaving and sneaking into Space Chimps.
Im being serious, it was utter tosh. Hire Shrek on DVD, call ar Asda for some munchies and save yourself a fortune and hours of your life which would be wasted on Wall E.

Heehee..
So you dont recommend it then,
I was going to wait for the DVD anyways, but thanks for the heads up.;)“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -
Words cannot express my dissapointment. Serious, there isnt a word spoken for the first hour and by then - my kids not appreciating the classical music and having to figure out the story line from expression alone - were united with most other kids in experiencing a level of boredom found only 12+ hour hour flights.0

We went to see it a couple of weeks ago and we both thought it was rubbish too, our 4yo DD quite enjoyed it though.MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740

We were lucky enough to get free tickets from the Times Newspaper screenbookings site pre-release (as did a lot of our friends). DH hated it and I found it a bit boring (but not a great fan of annimated films)-but our girls- 10 and 5 years loved it, as did all their friends. Like OP I cannot recommend it, as found it longwinded and a bit bit thin on the story, but most of the children I know have loved it.0

You didnt like it, so what. The costs you highlight apply to any visit to the cinema for 4 people.0 -

Which in my opinion would be better spent watching dvd at home as oppose to going to the cinema to watch Wall E.
It was a 'tip' based purely on my own experience and was never meant to be or even tried to be passed off as fact.0 -
WELL, I am sorry you found the film a load of garbage as you put it, but my daughter who by the way is 20 years old and my 11 year old nephew and daughters fiancee 22 years old thought the film was brilliant ,really funny and some sad parts but came out of the cinema laughing all the way home, Obviously it just depends upon the type of film different people prefer and this one was certainly preferred by at least 3 people of all ages.
thanks:T:T :T :T0 -

I thought Wall-E was fantastic!! It sounded like most others in the cinema liked it too.
A cinema trip can be expensive, but you can use Orange 2 for 1 to halve the cost, details here:
