As the title says I have a Word 2002 question!!

My dictionary is set to custom.dic, I would like to have the UK(English) version but it doesn't seem to be installed on my system. Do MS offer a download of this or is there another way I can get it?

  • What does it say on the status bar at the bottom of the screen?

If English (US), double-click it, select English (UK), click Default and then OK. Close Word and reopen.

Nice one Chippy, it did actually say English (UK) in the status bar, but when I clicked it, it also read from the English (US) dictionary (IE when I typed color it said that was OK). A quick untick later and now it sorted :)
