Does anyone know how I would find out what Natwest's base rate is?

Thanks,

I have seen them quote Bank of England base Rate (BoE) plus 1.69% for example for mortgages and similar for savings.
Which saving/investment product were you looking at?

Presumably this is a query about the Standard Variable Rate for their mortgages? In which case I imagine it's published somewhere on their website.

It is strange that this information isn't readily available on their website.

Both NatWest and RBS refer to 'our Base Rate' in relation to many of their products and services, but actually stating their current Base Rate seems beyond them.

Every UK Bank has a Base Rate, and they have to publicise any change in the FT and a couple of other publications.

Best bet would be to phone them I would guess.

Ohhh, their rate on which they base their savings products? I always assumed it was more or less arbitrary when all's said and done.
