My daughter is going on an organised trip to the USA and I need to sort her spending money. What do people think about the options: Cash - I am worried about safety and loss Travellers cheques - She may need ID to cash in shops and would therefore need to carry passport Cash Passport - Visa Electron type pre paid card -…

If she can't open a Nationwide account cause of her age, then you open one and give her your card and PIN. You can then use the account solely for holidays, as I do. Additionally, you can then manage her funds for her and if for some reason she needed more money then you could easily transfer more into the account for her.
