yes they can, it works just the same way as an ordinary one does as long as you have money in it.

Has anyone got their Paypal prepaid card yet? I was just wondering if it say on it debit or electron and if the numbers are embossed on the card. Also does it say "for electronic use only" on it?

Got mine a few days ago, it states "Electronic Use only" on the back, the numbers are printed, and it just has "Visa" logo, no mention of debit or electron. Whats strange is that there is no start date, some online retailers require a start date, especially Play.com, but I just use the month / year the card was issued.0
