Angry at my bank

 I am so angry with the Abbey. They have just charged me a £35 'instant overdraft request fee'. Now forgive me if i am wrong, but this sounds like a fee for requesting an overdraft, which i did but wasn't given one, due to obvious circumstances but there you go.
When i called them, they say it is for an unpaid standing order. I can't see any evidence of this, so got into a heated argument and ended up putting the phone down on them. I am very, very miffed so needed to rant and rave about it. I will have to go into branch and see what they can do. Any other Abbey customers experiencing something similar?

Dont lose your rag with customer services on the phone as it will probably just make things worse. I'd phone back and ask what the fee is and why its been charged. If its for an overdraft request and they didn't advise you you would be charged then ask for it to be refunded. If its for an unpaid standing order which you dont think is correct, ask for it to be refunded.0
