Isofix Anyone?

We have a Citroen C5 which has isofix points and so I am considering getting an isofix seat as they are supposed to be far safer. Does anyone here have any experience of these seats? And if so do they know of a reasonably priced seat for 9mths plus. I'd prafer one that reclines as baby is only 9mths and sleeps alot in the car.
thanks.

Hi I have the Bebe Confort Iseos seat and its fab. Fits incredibly secure and it does recline quite far back. The covers come off washing easily and its very easy to install and remove if needed.
I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Isofix are so easy to use - you just clip them in place. We have a britax one for the little one. Been used with both boys no problem. But you need to make sure the seat fits in your particular car. Britax has a fit finder on their website.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

You need a car specific one and don't believe the printed guides. Check it fits properly and remember if it needs to go in another car which has Isofix (either someone elses car, or if you change yours) it may not actually fit so you need to use the seatbelt anyway.
When we were considering which type to buy Isofix had too many downsides so we went for a traditional seat belt system and learnt how to fit it properly.0 -
we had the britax isofix duoplus which was great and fitted so snugly. Only got rid of it when it was time for the next stage. There are times when parenthood seems nothing but feeding the mouth that bites you Peter De VriesDebt free by 40 (27/11/2016)0

We've got a Britax isofix chair and it's great. But definitely get it tested in your car before you buy it - Halfords should let you do this no probs. Seem to remember the chair costing about £160, and it's definitely safer than regular chairs. The trouble comes if you ever have to fit it into a car without the settings - I had to do it once, because I went on a coach trip, and I just couldn't figure out how to get the straps to work...0

I bought Britax Isofix Duo. We have one in each car.
I had a crash when my son was 18 months old, and he didn't move a muscle. Me I ended up with two years worth of problems. I would recommend them every time.0
