Loose net connection when closing pages down

Hello all.
I am using Windows XP and have recently connected to BT B.Band.
I now have a problem, each time I close down X a page it disconnects me from the net, I also cannot reduce page size. What do I need to do please?

BT Yahoo is not a browser. I assume that you mean a 'BT Yahoo customised' version of Internet Explorer but what version? I would suggest that you try using an alternative better browser e.g. here:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
