Egg Recent 0% Campaign

Hi,
I am new to this site, but have enjoyed reading the advice of other people. I didn't know there was so much to know about finance!
The reason I found this site, is I saw an ad campaign for Egg that appeared to offer 0% for 9 months for balance transfers and 0% for 6 months for purchases.
Egg appear not to remember running this ad, and I am now questioning my own judgement. Did *anyone* see this ad or am I imagining things...?
I can find nothing about this anywhere on the web, and Egg are being less than helpful.
Please someone let me know I am not going mad...

As far as I know - The Egg Green card is 0% for BTs for 9 months and the Egg Blue card is the 0% for purchases.0

The Egg deals change from month to month.
I do remember them advertising on TV recently but I wasn't paying much attention to the detail, I'm afraid.0 -

Just checked on the website, & bt's & purchases are untill may 1st. I do remember the advert with the dodgy garage bloke! I remember that BT's & purchases were over a different time period, can't remeber what though.Next year we'll be millionaires!0 -
If you click on here http://new.egg.com/visitor/0,,3_33970--View_1070,00.html you should see the T's & C's for the egg card, including, at item 4.1, the various deals they've had over the last few months depending on which month you applied in.
If the link doesn't work, go to the egg site, to the egg card details, legal information, small print, agreement for after 1 October 2001.
To summarise:
PurchasesTransferred BalancesMonths
November 20041 May 20051 May 20056/6
October 20041 April 20051 June 20056/8
September 20041 March 20051 May 20056/8
August 20041 February 20051 February 20056/6
July 20041 January 20051 March 20056/8
June 20041 December 20041 February 20056/8
So at the moment (November) the offer isn't as good as sometimes, but I wouldn't be surprised if it changes for the better on 1 Dec.
I hope this helps,
DT0 -
Thank you all for your advice
It is confusing, I do realise offers change all the time.
The last 6 months of offers @DT was really useful, thank you, that clarifies what I thought, and is consistent with the contracts I've seen.
The only issue - if there was one - was that I was pretty convinced that they had run an ad campaign that had said 6 months and 9 months for the same card, and my friend who had seen it, and even the guy at egg seemed to remember when I asked "do you remember the ad campaign that was 6 months purchases and 9 months on BT"... but noone will corroborate this or deny this in writing ::)
If anyone does have a copy of that ad from a month ago languishing somewhere on a video taped at the time, let me know! ;D
Thanks for the advice 8)0
