Tescos clubcard vouchers received today!!!

I end up using my vouchers for food (usually try and save them up for Xmas) but as I am on a VERY limited income I usually only get about £2 - £3 every time. Most of the deals aren't suitable to my circumstances, so I don't have any other option than to spend it in store.
I have a query about the money off/extra points coupons that are usually attached as well. Can these be traded/used in any other way at Tesco as I either end up forgetting about them until after the use by date or don't want to purchase the items they are for.
I always try and use mine as soon as they arrive so they don't get forgotten and put them straight into my purse - mine are always based on products that I usually buy anyway. this time I got 100 extra points if I bought Bold liquitabs. I usually buy Bold liquid so bought the tabs instead today which also happened to be on offer which was good. I got 25 extra points if I bought Saxbys pastry (found some for 25p in the reduced counter so making a quiche for tea tonight) and £1 off Always which combined very nicely with an 80 extra points till spit I got last week. So that is 205 points already towards next quarter. I also got 25 points if I bought wine, but was good today and didn't! 75p off a new Schweppes drink and 80p off some kiddie snack bars.
I don't think you can use them against anything else, but you could try Ebay and I think there may be coupon swap sites as well. If you get a Clubcard Plus, which works a bit like a debit card but you put the money onto it - either by a standing order or cash at the customer service desk before you shop, you get 2 points per £1 spent instead of 1, a good way of boosting your points.0 -
I always used to spend mine instore until I read Martin's advice.
For ages now I've been rolling them over when they're due to expire and this summer we had enough to pay for three-quarters of a family holiday. We had a great time and couldn't have afforded it without the clubcard vouchers.
Going to start saving them again now!!

I wasn't aware that you could send back vouchers to be re-issued if they were about to expire (thanks for that info from Sprogs and Deedums).
Could they not do that with the money off/extra points coupons too? Hmm, perhaps I'll look into that...............0 -

Sell them on ebay, you will get more than the face value, but night as much as the deals value. Somewhere in between, so everyone wins. :beer:I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100 -
I've noticed a lot of clubcard vouchers up for sale on ebay lately but how does it work, won't the deals come back printed in the name of the cardholder? Which deals work and which are best to avoid if that is the case, has anybody sold or bought vouchers via eBay?Quidco to date - £1940

Would love to know the answer to this, I always get asked to hand over my clubcard so they can check the name against the card everytime I go to spend my vouchers- can't imagine what would happen if they weren't my vouchers!0 -
Im not expecting much in the way of vouchers this time because there just hasn't been any extra points around. I usually have about £90-100 worth but I bet I'm lucky to get £15 this time.0

We use them for subscriptions to various magazines and blockbuster vouchers. We gave in and spent £75 towards the cost of a wii - but it really is great! :beer:0
