Kaspersky Software

Options
Hi, i currently have Norton anti virus software but it runs out on friday and I it seems Kaspersky is the best one to get. I was going to get version 7, does this work on any computer? I have windows vista, will it work with that? Thanks, i dont have a clue when it comes to things like this.

I use AVG. There is a very good version available from their website which is totally free. As long as you update daily, which is also free it is very good. The review sites always give this a good score

I'd buy the Kaspersky antivirus which also provides internet security. It's great, although I haven't tried it on Vista. I'd highly recommend it :)

If you're interested in purchasing a license you can purchase it from here which is very cheap for a 3 user 1yr license http://www.cclonline.com/product-info.asp?product_id=24425&category_id=227

However, I'd recommend you use the trial version for a month to see if you like it. The trial version detects and cleans all viruses etc

I would recommend Eset smart security over Kapersky.
    Check it out at http://eset.co.uk/

One of the best AV programs out there.

Can't speak from personal experience but I do keep hearing that the main (and only) downside to Kaspersky is that it seems to use a lot of resources. Which is the complete opposite of Eset which uses very little (which is one of the main reasons I use Eset).
