Last minute Holiday for in Laws - HELP?!?!

Hi,
I have been given the task of finding a last minute holiday for my in laws and i would appreciate some help.
They want to go anytime from sat 16th aug for 7-10 days but must return by 30th aug latest. they want to be staying in a town by the sea which has a nice beach, restaurants and the apartment not on a huge complex.
I am considering, fuerteventura, Southen spain, france, Menorca, Croatia. they would prefer to fly Leeds/Bradford, but any northern airport would be fine.

Stupidly cheap out there but good weather and good food
Beach is literally 5min walk
Flight is a bit more expensive, but this is countered by the cheap cost of living out there.

looking at around £1000 flights and accomm for a week which is realistic. i know if they go somewhere else eg spain would be looking at £400 return for both£2008 for 2008 club No. 286
