I don't think this is well advertised, but if your a Virgin Media Broadband subsciber you can get up to 100 photos printed per month at for free at Snapfish (well, you do have to pay 99p postage).
The offer varies depending on which package your signed up to, the XXL package gets the 100 prints with less free prints for lesser packages.
You just have to sign in to your Virgin media account on the homepage find the offer and click on take me to the site, it automatically logs you in to your account at Snapfish and you can upload your photos as normal.0 -
I can't seem to find that virgin media link - any idea where i can find it, have a look in offers is it still therE? I'm on L package0
-
Go to My VirginMedia
Sign In
Under "My Apps" click on Backup & Storage
The options for photo printing can be found in there.
There's info in the help here:
http://help.virginmedia.com/system/selfservice.controller
Definitely still there, I've just sent for some prints today. The offer lasts 12 months from the point where you activate the Backup and Storage option. I'm not sure how many prints the L package gets. I'm sure I saw it last time I looked but I can't find it now :-/0 -
Link doesn't work, here's a cut & Paste
How do I get my free photo prints?
1. Access Backup & Storage.
If you need help with this, see How do I access the Backup & Storage options?
2. You then need to upload into your storage area any photos you want to print, or use photos you have backed up from your computer using Backup & Storage. The photos must be jpeg files.
How do I store stuff online?
3. Select the photos you want to print by ticking the box next to each photo, or click Select all to select on the page you’re on. When you’ve selected the photos, click Photo basket.
This will send your photos to the Photo basket, where you can check how many free photos you have left and confirm your print order.
4. Click on the Photo basket tab to go to the Photo basket.
You’ll see all the images that you have sent to the Photo basket.
Only Jpeg images can be sent to the Photo basket. If your images are in a different format, see How do I convert my photo images into Jpeg files, so they can be printed?
Check how many free prints you have left for the current month.
This information can be found in the panel on the right, where you can also view your Snapfish (photo order) account. Remember that your free prints will not carry over to the next month if you don’t use them.
5. Delete any images that you do not want to print, by clicking the trash can icon on each image.
6. When you have decided what you would like to print, click Upload to Snapfish.
This sends your images to our photo partner.
You should then see a message telling you that the upload is complete.*
You can then either go to the Snapfish site immediately or return later.
The site provides on-screen instructions, so you’ll always know what to do next.
Every time you upload a photo or photos to Snapfish for printing, an album is created. The album name reflects the date and time that your photos were uploaded. The names of the photos in each album will have the same identity (id) number.
* If you don’t see the transfer complete message, there might be an issue you should try again later.
If the problem persists, then contact Snapfish directly. Their contact details are available on their website.0 -

Beware that the p+p as described is sometimes different that what is advertised on this website! You will only find out when you go to chech-out. Photoworld was £1.99 not £1.49, Tesco £1.75 not £1,50, and Snapfish never got through the process as it was not user friendly and just gave up!
Only pennies I know, but we are all here to save some money, they Photoworld) say that it was the website who made the charges up, and nothing to do with them. They sais they would re-fund .50p, so I copied the details to them. Whether they re-fund or not, still waiting.

I have ordered a photobook from snapfish, and I ust say I am dissapointed : I got a 8X11'' hard cover book, and when it arrived the paper was thin, many of the pictures had ghost ink dotted here and ther (you know when the printhead is clogged or misaligned in your inkjet printer - that kind of thing), and ven though I paid ~£20 (inc postage, usign a 50% off code), i still think they could have done much better
but I did like their software, which allowed me to use lots of different layouts, and make my book reasonably quickly (4 hours-ish)0
