i am a memeber of 1899, bu sometimes when i call mobiles using this faclity it cuts me off and tells me to hang up just after it has told me how much the call will be per minute, why does it do this??

its manual dial,- i dial 1899 before the number each time. its hapenned a few times today.......0

I wouldn't use them to call mobiles - 10p/minute during the week is now double what 18185 charge.pipjes wrote:its manual dial,- i dial 1899 before the number each time. its hapenned a few times today.......Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
