am wondering how i connect to my virgin media broadband when/if i decide to go ahead and get shut of my pc.....i have just got a laptop and hardly use the pc so i am thinking of passing it on to my nephews.....
i use a belkin router which is connected to the pc - so, if we just use laptops how would this work? my broadband connection comes via a wire to a hub near my virgin tv set top box....
we would be running 4 laptops if i do get shut of the pc....and i would require an always on connection because my son/daughter each have their own laptop and would be using theirs at allsorts of hours depending on their working day/night....
am a bit stuck....any help would be appreciated....thanks

The router should maintain the always-on connection, regarless of whether there's a PC connected to it. I'm assuming it's a wireless router? What's the model number of the Belkin box?
If it is, then there's no problem, and you could connect to the router with an ethernet cable to a laptop should the wireless ever fail / need reconfiguring.Russia is HERE0
