Urgent: in a panic, name on boarding pass (online) is abbreviation ...

I booked flights to spain with Jet2 several months ago. I could swear that I used my full name on the booking. But when I registered with the site I would have used the shortened form. I have just printed out my boarding pass, and it has my shortened name on them.

Is this a problem?
Am I going to Spain tomorrow?

The name on the boarding pass is "Fran" rather than "Frances". I can't believe this, I tried so hard to get it right.

Dont worry about it, just check in as normal but dont bring it to their attention either. Even if you did id be stunned if something actually effected your travel.

Im travelling to the US in a couple of weeks with my 3 year old daughter named as the lead passenger!

dont think that it matters who the lead is, my son has been before purely because alphabetically he is the first in our family and airlines computers resort to that...if a family checks in with pooled baggage the tags will always come out in the family/groups first alphabetically listed person, is this so with your daughter? then the company i work for now the lead name is the person who paid so may well not even be on the trip if for instance a family member or friend paid on their card.
