(May be blindingly obvious to you techies, but I'm one of those who think the computer will explode if I don't treat it with kid gloves.)

I have an iQon I got from Tesco several years ago. One of the usb ports on the front ( due to my overenthusiasm with a memory stick) has been pushed too far in, and I can look through the hole to see it waving around inside.
Is it relatively simple for someone who's never seen the innards of a computer for fix myself?
If not, how do I get it sorted, as obviously I don't want to leave my computer and all the info on it with some repair man I don't know/

Thanking you.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

    Yep.

    1) Unplug the computer, inc all wires behind it. Make a note of where they all go!

    2) Unscrew the screws at the back of the machine, but not the four that are near the fan thing.

    3) One of the sides of the machine will slide off, revealing the innards. Be careful about touching anything, because any static shock that you may be carrying could damage some of the more sensitive components. To help prevent this, "ground yourself" first (e.g. touch a radiator for a few seconds).

    4) Either push, or glue (if you can), the USB slots back in to the right place.

    5) Put the side cover back on, screw the screws in, put all the wires back in the right place, plug in, and switch on.

    Thank you.
I particularly like your first point - wouldn't be the first time I've dismantled something then thought whoops!
