British Gas ?
Not sure if in right section ??
Just wondering 'British Gas' are offering the oportunity to sign up for price protection 2010 - giving a 4.8% discount on our electricity rates. And the discounted fixed price will last right up until April 2010. If you cancel before 2010, however, you will pay a cancellation fee of up to £30
Is this a good deal ? What are the best deals at the moment ?
Appreciate any help
Thx

Did you know that Brit gas are switching much of their cust serv to call center in India putting aroud 1,500 (in the first leg alone) Brits out of work, mainly in England.
Should we all write to them stating either that we are switching away form them because of this or that we want the news confirmed or denied as we were planning a switch to them but won't if they go ahead with these plans for moving cust serv to India?0 -
Great all we need !!joe2cool0

...and the really canny bit? It won't be the call centres that are transferred to India, it'll be the back office processing centres. This way customers will still speak to a UK operator but all the number crunching and so on will take place offshore...0 -

Great: India has loads of keen and highly-educated people who will be glad of the jobs and will do their best to help us. We should experience better service at lower cost, and will also be doing our bit to help 'make poverty history'.0
