Where shall i put my money

Options
Hello

I've got two lots of money that I need to put somewhere to get maximum money.

The first lot is £1300 which I will need to get full access to in 6months.

The second is just over £2k that will either be needed in full in 12months or maybe part in 12months and little bits after for a year.

Does anyone have a clue what the best plan for me is?

Thanks

    a high interest bank account.
cash is king unless your investment horizon is medium-long term.
  • If you haven't filled your ISA already, this is the best place to start.

Go for one of those - that's the current best buy table.

    Happy saving :)

Are you a tax payer, if so which band are you in?
If you are a tax payer use your ISA allowance (6.5% is good rate right now), otherwise take out a high interest savings account and fill in an R85 form to claim tax back.
