  • Hey,

Try AVG (Free edition) from Grisoft. We use Norton at work, and we used to be able to get a free license for home use, but they've stopped that now!! All the Softies at work now use AVG FREE at home

I've been using it for a few months and am very impressed!!

    cheers

Besides AVG Free, there're also Avast! and AntiVir PE to choose from. Alternatively - if you're willing to pay for it - there's NOD32, which is apparently rather good.

Yeah, Nod32 at about £25 is one of the best. Light on resources, fast at scanning, and good detection rates.

If you really want to save money though, try out AVG.

I bought mine on ebay. It was less than a tenner and gave me more than my old 2002. I got the full 2005 antivirus and internet security.
