Help needed - cheapest flight to New York?

Hi all,

I posted about this a few weeks ago, but due to financial reasons couldn't book the flight then. However, I now have the funds (hooray!) and was wondering whether anyone might fancy giving me a hand finding the cheapest flight?

Details are:

2 adults flying from Bristol to NYC.
1 March - 7 March 2006 (or maybe 8th!)
Direct flight wanted.

Anyone fancy helping me with a search? I understand this may seem a bit lazy! However, I have done some searching but I've exhausted all the ideas I have. Best deal I can find is £243-ish...

Just curious if anyone can do any better? Any help much appreciated!

    Presumably that's Continental from Bristol.

Have you considered Northwest Airlines from Gatwick, looks to be about £220.

BA from Heathrow BTW is about £250

I doubt very much that you will beat £243 ish. I haven't seen a £199 deal for a very long time and think they are history due to fuel surcharges.

A quick search on http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/Flights.jsp reveals that the CO direct to NYC is available for an "estimated" price of £186 pp inc tax. Best of luck if you can get it!
