  • I've just picked up my first job for ISC and a bit nervous as I read on the instructions that they check the cctv footage plus audio on all visits to this client. I am sure I will mess up and get tongue tied because I know I am being recorded. Also, got to take photo of building and can't help feeling I will look a right prat stood in the middle of a busy shopping centre taking photos of an ordinary everyday building. Any advices gratefully received.
  • I always get embarrassed taking photos of shops too.

You don't have to put the camera to your eye. Take it from your chest/hip/stomach region. Nobody will notice, including the shop. Just check that you have what you need before moving on.

I tend to take 3 or 4, moving the camera's angle slightly up or down, to try and get a range as you don't know where you are aiming it. Move backwards if you can't get the whole shot in.

Have you got a decent camera on your phone? I use that and it just looks like you are fiddling with your phone.

Can anyone advise me on how to make pics smaller. I am doing a job today for ISC and last time I had a problem as they only take pics up to 300meg?? and my pic was 312megs. I use Picassa for pics.

    Cheers in advance

I use MS Picture Manager. It's part of Office XP and later versions.

Open the picture, then click on "edit" and then "compress" and it does it all for you. It's dead easy!
