LTD - I have a c/c I use for MS. I don't use it for things like sandwich jobs as I don't miss the odd couple of pounds but use it for larger items such as meals, clothing etc.
OK, I know I'm dim, but I can't figure out the hotel chain with a single letter????Gis another clue!
Anyway, I can't see them on RE either. I have local jobs and then I scroll down and there is nothing else! Are the hotels in your own area or do you have to search other areas for them?0 -
I can't see the hotels either, none around my way or all gone, but I remember the hotel chain from ages ago from MS.
Not sure I can give any more clues ! - Are we still allowed to?0 -
I am being dim too and can't work it out...but then it did take me a while to work out the snail restaurants!!0

do a net search for
uk hotel chain
comes up on first page0 -
Ah thanks! Actually it came up third for me! Strange!
Either way, I've never heard of them so that explains why I couldn't work it out.
So, do these only show up on your page if they are in your region?0 -
I'm shattered today, did 13 MS's yesterday and I predicted the right score in the footy after carrying out a MS at a bookies! £3 @12/1, happy days!!“A banker is the fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining and wants it back the minute it begins to rain.” Mark Twain0

1) Have a credit card with a 10K limit
2) Use a credit card that is either cashback, so earn money for all the expenses or in my case a credit card which earns x4 FF miles for every £ spent at the airline.
I spent around £10K in expenses last year so earned 40K FF miles-Now if that was 1% cashback....
3) Time the purchases so that I get the maximum 56 day interest free period. By which time I usually have been paid
4) Always pay off the balance.
The "missing" £2.5K was paid on the 15th, I have to pay the credit card off on the 20th, so that was a little close....0 -
Just a little moan - I've just lost out on a job because I emailed the MS company with some questions. The first question they answered immediately - within a couple of minutes. Then I emailed again for further clarification on a few points - this was 11.30am this morning - still no reply and someone else has now taken the job.
I'm a bit put out because it was a good fee - but I thought I was doing the right thing in not accepting it until I was sure I met the criteria. If they had answered me sooner I might have got it.
What do others think about this/do about this? Surely it's best to check first rather than accept a job in haste and maybe end up canceling it? How do the rest of you approach this kind of situation?0 -

This is the problem with FF.
You did the professional thing in making sure you were suited for the job and claryfing the (usual) ambiguities of some job briefs.
However it is sometimes 'better' to accept the job and then if you find it is in fact ambiguous or not for you then reject it.
Obviously you can't do this a lot of times as you may get a bad reputation.
I have no qualms in doing this as I detest the FF method. It's a lazy way for the MS companies to operate IMHO.
Who was the company?0
