Service History!!!!

Hi All ,
new to this forum so here goes i bought a car from my local dealership , on the 1st of Aug they sold it to me with a full service history, when i got it home i searched all the documents and no service book , after numerous phone calls still no book , where do i stand on this now?

    Depends on how much you want to keep the car. You could demand a refund if they sold it as having FSH but there isn't any records.
  • Thanks for the reply, rang the garage asking for a refund and within 10 mins of putting phone down , a call came back to me service book will be with me tomorrow !!!!:T

  • When you get it, check the dates of services, make sure there isnt any bank /public holidays or sundays in there;) Or you could buy yourself a book of ebay and a stamp and make your own:rotfl:
  • New service books are for sale on ebay, you tell them how many stamps you want putting in the book and they will do it for you, the rest is blank for you to fill the details in. You need to phone the garage who has supposedly done the servicing or better still get receipts or a print out for work done.

    Watch out for hints of any Tipex on the dates and/or mileage.
