Assume this has been ask plenty of times before so apologies.
The site Privacy Policy, updated only a few days ago, says "We do collect your e-mail address when you register to receive Martin’s Money Tips e-newsletter."
That's obvious enough, couldn't send the email otherwise, but doesn't say what use will be made of it.
In the top corner box of this page about the Tips email it says "Don't worry. Your email address won't be passed on."
Great, but shouldn't that be incorporated in the Privacy Policy? Any reason why not?
Could the Privacy Policy please state the purpose that our contact details will or could be used for now or in the future? Thanks

It does...Apart from the uses described in paragraph 3 above the only circumstances in which we would disclose any of this information to any third party is if ownership of all or part of our website were transferred, in which case any purchaser would only be entitled to use that information in a way consistent with this Privacy Policy.0
