How to go wireless

Hi there
I wish to get broadband but due to where my phone line is and where my PC is, it seems that wireless is the easiest option. However, our PC is a few years old. Am I right in thinking that I can get something that plugs into a USB port that'll enable me to use a wireless modem/router?!? If so, can anyone recommend something for me? Also, and as the Post Office are only offering a "normal" modem/router, can anyone recommend a decent (but not too expensive) wireless modem/router?!?
Many thanks!!!

Yep, you'll need the following:
Router
USB receiver (x the amount of PC's yuo wish to connect wirelessly at once)
The router transmits a wireless bubble around a certain area.
The USB Receiver picks up this signal and hey presto, wireless broadband.
If you don;t yet have a router, look for one which comes with a USB reciever, get two birds with one stone
Better off getting down PC world / currys/ comet etcetc. https://www.Ebuyer.com is very cheap0 -
i would suggest a netgear router, they are very good for home use0

these posts crop up daily..
there is a wireless sticky post at the top of the boards, so my advice is to read this - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=121274 - and then ask any questions in that thread!
