Minimum Monthly Payment or Pay Balance in Full?

I'm trying to rebuild my credit after a few mishaps and have my first credit card on its way in 9 years. I'm familiar with credit reports and what they show. My question is:

Will the credit card company review my accounts credit limits more often if I clear the balance in full or if I pay the minimum amount? The latter means they'll earn interest, but do they see that as a good thing or not?

Is it shown as just a '0' - as in 'paid on time' on my credit file either way?

I just want to do the most efficient and effective things to get my credit rating back to being acceptable... so do I pay in full or monthly minimum?

Any opinions welcome. Thanks.

    Yes

I think it is better to do this for free - without paying interest and loosing up to 60 days interest-free period on purchases (this happens if you don't pay balance in full).
  • Pay it off in full each month if you can. Why not?
You might get into a good habit like living within your means ...
