DVD Burning w/ NeroVisionExpress

I'm trying to burn a video onto a DVD in my PC, I'm using a RW+/- drive and nerovision express. The problem I'm getting is that every time it goes to burn the file it spits the dvd back out and says that the burn failed. I've even tried it at 1X to make sure I wasnt trying to burn it too fast but still nothing.

Anyone got any idea how I fix it/make it work?

I've posted the log at the bottom as I think its useful (?)

Thanks
sharon

ok it says you have a matish1ta ( panasonic) dvdrw, have you updated the latest aspi layers to it? these are like a driver for the rewriter, if you are using x 8 dvd media and the writer only burns at x4 you may have problems.

if you could post the spec and model of the dvdrw it may shine abit of light, also the disks youare using to burn with.

it could still be your aspi as it says in your log

    Files\NeroVision\NeroFiles\Wnaspi32.dll': Ver=2.0.1.59, size=160016 bytes, created 17/06/2003 15:25:04
    Nero API version: 6.0.0.13

see if on your dvdrw webiste there is a newer aspi layer ( this HAS to be the correct one other wise you could !!!!!! up you dvdrw) it just flashes the upgrade once downloaded.
