Our Annual policy is due for renewal and after checking out moneysupermarket and my existing insurer, thought I'd try an insurance broker that advertise in our local magazine. They provided the best quote of £82 for a family Worldwide annual policy inc Winter sports cover.

this was recommended to me. I have not used it but my friends did and unfortunately had to visit hospital while on holiday. They inform me that that the insurance company were fab. The hospital called the insurance who only asked our friends to pay the excess and all bills were forwarded to insurance company.

Get yourself an Alliance & Leicester Premier or Premier Direct current account. You get FREE annual worldwide travel insurance with it if you're under age 65..

I think this was only a benefit with the Premier Plus account, which is no longer available to new customers.
