Hotmail hijacked now Chinese!

Someone hijacked my hotmail account on Saturday night, they then got into my ebay account. Ebay and Hotmail have been great and I am now back on them again. The only problem I have with Hotmail is that some of the text is Chinese and most of it has changed to little squares with numbers in them. Can anyone tell me how to change it back. Thanks.

Though I'm assuming it's not all in Chinese, otherwise we might have a problem!

Thanks Marty, but that's the problem, the bit where it should say options is made up of little squares, when I click it dozens more squares appear instead of text then I have no idea what to click on.

Hhhmmm, that is a pickle.

I think if I were in your shoes, I would send them an email and ask if they could reset it.

Thanks Marty, luckily I had another Hotmail account working just fine. So I opened that up made a little diagram of what lines to click on to change language, then went back to Chinese account and have changed it back to English. The !!!!!!s have deleted 200 personal emails though going back quite a few years. I wonder if the Hotmail staff could get them back for me.

As for the deleted emails, isn't there a deleted items folder or something?

Yes there is but it's only showing 13 deleted mails, I have emailed the Hotmail staff on the link you sent, they were very helpful over weekend so fingers crossed they might be able to help again.
