fitted wardrobes - any recommendations

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good supplier of fitted wardrobes. I'm not very handy so need a company that will do everything required. Live nr Warrington, North West of England.

I've just bought some from Wickes. Having previously used Hammond and Sharps, I can confirm that they are very good and on a par with the products supplied by the aforementioned.

I got great price which offers a significant saving over using a company that supplies and fits.

Just a tip though, check the itemised quote that Wickes Sales person offers, they tend to bump up there quote by adding on more cornice / plinth and edging tape than is required.

Our sales person also told me that they are under explicit instructions not to lose sales to B&Q on price (despite the significant difference in quality) B&Q being the inferior product.

Mine is costing just under £1000 including fitting by a local joiner. Sharps and Hammonds quoted between £2000 an £2250 for the same inclusive of fitting.

Thanks for this. Do they fit also or would I need to get someone else in to dot his?

    Hi,

Yes they do fit, however both Wickes and B&Q's idea of quoting for fitting is doubling the price of the the product. My fitter is chaging me £170 for fitting.

  • I have heard good reports about gerard-moore.co.uk near Stockton Heath in Warrington. I am also looking for fitted wardrobes in Warrington but haven't started getting any quotes yet
