I've stayed at Ty Mawr a few times, and it's a lovely holiday park. For days out, we go to Llandudno on the dry ski slope and toboggans. A walk up the Great Orme is also enjoyable, but tiring. Rhyl Sun Centre might keep everyone occupied for a few hours, and you might find some discount vouchers on the forums.

There's a big fun fair on the main road, however we always avoid that one and go for one that's tucked away and near the sea front. They do wristbands, that are cheaper in the evenings, so that should keep the kids entertained for a bit. I don't know what the fun fair is called, but if you come out of Ty Mawr and go right, then go left at the first set of traffic lights. It's on Sandbank Road. Have fun ...

I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.
