    kaz - ok, I'll try to describe it. The room is rectangular, with the French doors on one long wall, nearer the fireplace end. One small window is at the other end of that long wall, and the second is on the short wall adjacent to it, so the two small windows kind of go together, and all are seen in the same 'eyeful' as the French doors.

    The pole I've already bought is antique brass, so no chance of broom handles...

    TAG - I have sometimes made a very firm suggestion along the lines of 'Can we postpone this argument to Thursday next week? I really don't have time now'. Usually both of us have forgotten that there was an argument. Otherwise, I just go down to the allotment and dig a lot. Hugs.

    Well all washing is ironed. I did the bathroom to level 3, so that's good.

    Still to do this week

    Living room, hall, stairs and landing.
    Master bedroom good enough. Kids can do their own

    Oh and Fridays I strip the beds - my (double) gets a full change; kids get new pillow cases, top sheet to bottom and bottom sheet washed. New top sheet.
