Got home... read posts... realised that I probably should have just done stuff instead :o but I'm now nicely de-stressed after work and should be able to get a bit done tonight. I plan to go off the gym at the crack of dawn tomorrow as if I'm in the office all day, but as I'm working from home I hope to get a bit more done around the house. The good thing about being out of the house so much is at least the effects of making an effort last well.

*Why* did I wash it up first?

Same reason I don't throw away unwashed undies - you don't want anyone to think you're a dirty !!!!!!;)

Right, the me, me, me post.

I'm a bit upsy-downsy this evening and consequently emotional which is not like me AT ALL (that said, there's nothing so powerful as the female hormone!).

DD came round last night and was in tears because her boyfriend of about 2 years had just called it a day. She's still in love with him. You more mature ladies know what it's like with the kids - you do the soothing, the gentle talk but inside you hurt just as bad as they do and you worry dreadfully about them.

This evening ex1 phoned. DS was around so after a bit I handed the phone over. It quite choked me up listening to the bits I could hear.

The subject came up about ex1's Mum (she could nag like hell and simultaneously talk the hind leg off a donkey from what I remember!) - should she be told of the contact or not?

In the end we agreed ex1 could tell her but would not give out my phone number to her. So, we'll just wait for the onslaught anyway.

Right, I need to go to bed. I need to sleep to allow my subconcious to sort out all these conflicting thoughts that are running round my head.

    Night night ladies.

congrate embb :j she is a wee cutie !
he could try ibuprofen (it's a NSAID - non steroidal anti inflammatory)
thanks Valli - ordinary common garden ibuprofen didnt touch it. the GP has had him diclofenate or something for the last 6 weeks, he cant mix ibuprofen with this so it must be a ibuprofen strain ? The diclofenate stuff makes it feel better for a while but he is on the max dose and the effects wear off too soon, plus he still husts just not as much. good to hear yours went away though , thats good to hear that it can go! And the even better news is BUP should cover it, so we are lucky in that respect, and my work policy is such a good one there isnt even an excess to pay.
and thanks Mudbath and boddy too :o

soappie sorry you've had a rough day, hope you feel cheerier tomorrow

((hugs)) to everyone else, I only had time for a quick skim read and now its time for bed. well way past time but there you go such is life.

    Morning All

Hope you're feeling a bit brighter this morning Soappie.

I've been up since 4.50 to make sure DH's clothes were dried that he wanted for work - we had a row last night because I'd washed the wrong things first! When he got up he informed me that he'd sorted out his clothes last night and he didn't need anymore - I was not impressed. He's not home now until Saturday and I hate it when I'm mad at him when he goes away and then he's not going to be back to sort it out!

So today I'm doing more washing, taking the kids and dogs blackberry picking and see what I get done from today's list. Don't think I'll bother stripping the bed though as I've got enough washing to do. Probably leave it until Saturday then DH can make it again! Also got another bloke coming this afternoon to give me a quote for the new boiler.

Hope everyone has a good day

I'll post a proper list later
